Story
When I joined FYERS, the platform was primarily a place to discover stocks, indices, and other investment opportunities, but the broader trader journey was fragmented. Even within FYERS, the experiences that existed were spread across different parts of the platform. Outside FYERS, traders relied on tools like Screeners.in for screening, Finviz for building screening queries, and TradingView for chart analysis and stock monitoring through watchlists.
I took ownership of the Discovery layer with the goal of bringing more of that journey together within FYERS. I worked across Home, Screeners, Watchlist, Market Overview, Analytics, Search, News, F&O Discovery, FIA(FYERS Intelligent Assistant), and other research experiences, looking at how they could work as one connected ecosystem rather than isolated products.
The bigger idea was to help traders move from discovering an opportunity, researching it, monitoring it, building conviction, executing the trade, with fewer reasons to leave the FYERS ecosystem.
