Story
When I joined FYERS, the platform was primarily a place to discover stocks, indices, and other investment opportunities, but the broader trader journey was fragmented. Even within FYERS, the experiences that existed were spread across different parts of the platform. Outside FYERS, traders relied on tools like Screeners.in for screening, Finviz for building screening queries, and TradingView for chart analysis and stock monitoring through watchlists.
I took ownership of the Discovery layer with the goal of bringing more of that journey together within FYERS. I worked across Home, Screeners, Watchlist, Market Overview, Analytics, Search, News, F&O Discovery, FIA(FYERS Intelligent Assistant), and other research experiences, looking at how they could work as one connected ecosystem rather than isolated products.
The bigger idea was to help traders move from discovering an opportunity, researching it, monitoring it, building conviction, executing the trade, with fewer reasons to leave the FYERS ecosystem.
The Legacy
This was the experience when I joined FYERS. Market discovery and monitoring existed across different parts of the platform, but weren’t yet connected into a single journey.
My contribution
I shipped 9 interconnected products that were to become the FYERS Discovery ecosystem, continuously optimised them based on user feedbacks and evolving business needs.
My work involved collaborating closely with the Product Managers and founders to understand the scope, lot of research to validate the problem, moderated/unmoderated testing and stakeholder reviews to validate the solution through iterative improvement. Once approved, I work with engineering to ensure the implementation is aligned with design by conducting design reviews. Once live, feedback is taken from users through community, CS inflow and analytics to optimize further.

FYERS Home needed to showcase different ways traders & investors discover and make sense of the market, from tracking their watchlist and market trends to exploring screeners, investment products, and trading tools.
I restructured the experience around these different discovery needs, creating a clearer hierarchy that helps users quickly understand what’s happening in the market and choose where to go deeper.
Watchlist
FYERS used tradingview API to give their users the watchlist experience. Creating a native watchlist for FYERS came with the challenge of retaining the familiarity of world-class tradingview watchlist while staying consistent to the FYERS ecosystem.
Watchlist brings together multiple ways for tradors to track and research the market. Users can create and manage their own watchlists, explore predefined watchlist or view their positions, holdings and screened stocks alongside curated market data.
I designed the experience to support these different ways of monitoring the market, while creating detailed, instrument-specific views that give users the context they need to analyse opportunities and make informed decisions.
Markets Overview
Traders needed a quick way to understand what was happening across different parts of the market like Indices, Stocks, Commodites and ETFs without having to dig through multiple screens.
I brought market movements, index performance, and broader market signals into a dashboard with clearer hierarchy, making it easier to scan the market and decide what to explore next.
Screeners
Traders often know what they’re looking for but finding those opportunities across thousands of stocks can be time-consuming and complex.
I designed screeners to make market scanning easier by bringing predefined screeners, trending strategies and custom scans into one place.
Create Screener
Market screening was made more efficient by designing a query builder that enables users to build custom screens by combining multiple conditions and logic gates to narrow thousands of stocks down to specific opportunities.
Analytics
I designed analytics to turn complex market data into visual signals, using tools like heatmaps, bubble charts, seasonality charts and tables to help traders quickly spot trends, compare performance and explore opportunities.
News
The experience was designed to bring together live updates across markets and the economy while giving users a simpler way to follow and act on the stories and development that matter to them.
FYERS Intelligent Assistant(FIA)
FIA was built to bring AI into market research, letting traders anlayse stocks, create screeners, analyse charts and automate workflows using natural language.
Budget ‘26 Dashboard
Budget Dashboard was an event-driven initiative designed to help users quickly understand key updates and spot potential market opportunities during the Union Budget 2026.
